Trang My Tran
Welcome!
My name is Trang My Tran (in Vietnamese, Trần Mỹ Trang). Phonetical spelling is Chang Me Chun.
I am a lecturer at Monash University (Malaysia campus). I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at Department of Economics, Deakin University. Prior to my Ph.D., I obtained a Bachelor of Science with double majors in Chemistry and Economics from Randolph-Macon College, U.S.A.
My research focuses on environmental economics and development economics. I am also interested in the application of microeconometric techniques.

Nov 2023: My working paper "Bridging the Gap: Assessing the Effects of Railway Infrastructure Investments in Northwest China" (coauthored with Lamont Bo Yu and Wang-Sheng Lee) has been accepted for publication at China Economic Review.
Sep 2023: My working paper "Green Infrastructure and Air Pollution: Evidence from Highway Connecting Two Megacities in China" (coauthored with Wang-Sheng Lee and Bo Yu) has been accepted for publication at Journal of Environmental Economics and Management.
