This Privacy Policy applies to the QR Master mobile application (the “Application”). The Application is provided as a freemium service and is provided “AS IS”.
The Application collects minimal information to provide and secure its services:
A) Account & Authentication
Firebase Authentication: We use identifiers (such as User ID) to enable sign-in and protect the service from abuse (e.g., managing daily scan/create quotas).
B) User Content & QR Generation
Image-to-QR: If you use the "Image-to-QR" feature, the Application accesses the images you specifically select to embed them into a QR code.
Scanning: When using the camera to scan, the Application processes the visual data to extract QR information.
History: Saved QR codes and scan history are stored either locally on your device or in your private cloud storage (Firebase) if signed in.
C) Device & App Usage Data
Diagnostics: We collect device information (model, OS version) and crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs.
Analytics: Basic interaction data (features used) is collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the user experience.
D) Advertising & Rewards
Google AdMob: The Application displays rewarded ads. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) and interaction data to serve ads and verify "Watch Ad" rewards for extra scan/create attempts.
We use the collected information to:
Provide core QR creation (15+ types) and scanning features.
Manage daily usage limits (e.g., 2 free attempts/day) and grant rewards via ads.
Maintain service integrity and prevent fraud.
Improve Application performance and fix crashes.
The Application integrates the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:
Firebase (Google): For Authentication, Firestore/Storage, and Analytics.
Google AdMob: For serving rewarded advertisements.
Local/Cloud Processing: Images used for QR generation are processed to create your custom code.
Permission: The Application only accesses your gallery or camera after you grant explicit permission.
Retention: We retain data as long as your account is active to provide history and sync features.
Deletion: You can request account and data deletion at any time by contacting us.
The Application has an Age Rating of 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without following applicable legal requirements.
We use commercially acceptable means (like Firebase Security Rules) to protect your data, but please remember that no electronic storage is 100% secure.
