Privacy Policy for Train Network Builder

This policy explains, in plain terms, how Train Network Builder handles information. The short version: the app is a self-contained planning simulator. It runs entirely on your device and keeps to itself.
1. No accounts, no profiles we can see
There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account of any kind. You are never asked for an email address, a phone number, or a social identity to open the app or to use any of its features. We do not build a profile of who you are or what you plan.
2. What stays on the device
Everything you create — cities, rail lines, saved networks, snapshots, scenario scores, and your display name and unit preferences — is written to the app's private storage on your device. That data never leaves the device through us, because the app performs all of its simulation and optimization calculations locally. There is no server on our side that receives, stores, or processes your networks.
3. No tracking and no analytics
Train Network Builder does not embed advertising, third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or behavioral SDKs. We do not measure how you use the app, and we do not have a mechanism to do so. The simulation is deterministic and offline; it needs no connection to function.
4. Removing your data
Because your networks live only in the app's local container, you are always in control of them. Deleting a saved project inside the app removes it. Uninstalling the app removes everything the app has stored, completely and permanently. Since we hold nothing on our end, there is nothing for us to delete or return on your behalf.
5. Children
Train Network Builder is a general-audience planning tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly gather information from children, and in fact the app gathers no personal information from anyone.
6. Updates to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will carry a new "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change reflects the current policy.
