National Informatics Centre, Chandigarh has developed the Traffic Mitra Mobile App for the Chandigarh Traffic Police. The app enables the citizens to report traffic rules violation directly to Chandigarh Traffic Police.

Permissions Used by This App:

Internet: The app uses an internet connection and collects information about the device's network availability to fetch and submit data.
Location: The app uses device location services to capture accurate GPS coordinates of the user.
Camera: The app uses the device camera to capture pictures as evidence of traffic violations.

Data Retention Policy & Managing Your Information

The app enables citizens to report traffic violations to Chandigarh Traffic Police. All data is stored locally on the device, except the login password.

Misuse by Non-Targeted Users

This Mobile App is intended for use by citizens of India only. Misuse by non-targeted users is controlled through mobile/OTP-based login and location validation.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to include or remove content as per the latest requirements. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly, as continued use of the app is considered acceptance of any changes.
