Welcome to Trading Journal. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and shared when you use our mobile application (the "App").

We collect information to provide a better experience to all our users.
Account Information: When you sign up using Email or Google Sign-in, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture provided by the authentication provider (Firebase Auth).
Trading Data: We store the trade details you enter, including asset names, entry/exit prices, stop loss, take profit, P&L amounts, notes, and screenshots you upload to track your performance.
Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including the hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and crash reporting.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide and maintain the App’s core functionality (Journaling & Analytics).
To personalize your experience and track your trading progress.
To communicate with you, such as for support requests or administrative updates.
To show relevant advertisements via Google AdMob (unless you have a premium subscription).
3. Permissions We Request
Camera & Gallery: To allow you to upload profile pictures and attach screenshots of your trading charts to your journal entries.
Internet Access: To sync your data with our secure database (Firebase) and to load advertisements.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Play Services
Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage, Analytics): Used for secure data storage and app performance monitoring.
Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers to personalize ads.
5. Data Security & Retention
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We retain your personal information and trading data for as long as your account is active. You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time through the "Delete Account" option in the Profile settings.
6. Children’s Privacy
Trading Journal does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
