This Privacy Policy explains how TrackKaro ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.

Advertising: Appodeal (ad mediation platform serving ads from multiple networks)
1) Information We Collect
- No account or personal profile is required by the App.
- Local-only app data: your investments and settings are stored on your device. We do not operate servers to receive or store your financial data.
- Platform/diagnostic data: Google Play and/or your device OS may collect limited diagnostic information per their policies (e.g., crash logs, ANRs, app version).
- Advertising data (via Appodeal SDK and its network partners): device information such as IP address, Advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP), device type and operating system, app interactions (ad impressions/clicks), and other signals necessary for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
- Attribution data (via Adjust and AppsFlyer): install attribution signals and in-app events to measure advertising effectiveness.
2) Advertising (Appodeal and Partner Networks)
- The App displays banner, native, and medium-rectangle (MREC) ads using Appodeal, an ad mediation platform that works with multiple advertising networks.
- Appodeal and its partner networks may process data for ad delivery, personalization, measurement, and fraud prevention.

3) Children's Privacy
- The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age required by local law, e.g., 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
- If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
4) Permissions Used
- INTERNET: required for loading ads, real-time market data, and news feeds.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: used to check network connectivity for ads and content fetching.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: used to send optional reminders (e.g., FD maturity alerts). You may decline this permission.
5) Data Storage and Security
- Your financial data (investments, settings) is stored locally on your device using an encrypted Room database and DataStore.
- We recommend using a device screen lock and keeping your OS/apps updated for maximum security.
6) Data Retention
- Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Ad-related and attribution data is processed and retained by Appodeal and its partner networks in accordance with their respective privacy policies (see links in Section 2).
7) Your Choices and Controls
Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising:
- Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android 12+: "Delete Advertising ID")
- A consent dialog may appear on first launch (required in EEA/UK/Brazil). You can revisit your consent preferences through that dialog.
Reset Your Advertising ID:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID

- To stop all data collection, uninstall the App.
8) Your Rights (GDPR/EEA/UK)
- Where applicable, you may have rights to: access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and data portability.
- To exercise rights regarding data processed by Appodeal and advertising partners, use the privacy tools and links provided above and contact the respective companies directly. For App-local data, you can delete data or uninstall the App. You may also contact us (see Contact Us below).
9) California Privacy (CCPA/CPRA)
- We do not sell or share personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA.
- You may limit ad personalization via Android settings and applicable consent dialogs.
- To exercise rights under CCPA/CPRA, contact us and use the privacy tools referenced above.

12) Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, SDKs, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
