Welcome to TrackHer ("we," "us," or "our"). TrackHer is a period and ovulation tracking application designed to help users monitor their menstrual cycle, predict ovulation, identify fertile windows, and access wellness articles. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal and health-related data responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using TrackHer, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Key Takeaway: All your personal health data (period dates, cycle details, symptoms, and notes) is stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your health data on external servers.
To provide cycle-tracking features, the app asks you to enter:
Last period start date
Menstrual cycle length
Period duration
Personal symptom notes and diary entries
The app calculates and stores ovulation dates, fertile windows, safe days, and next-period predictions based on your input. All of this data is saved locally on your device using on-device databases (SQLite) and SharedPreferences. We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve this data.
When you browse our built-in wellness articles, the app saves your liked articles and reading history locally on your device to personalize your experience. This information never leaves your device.
Your chosen app theme and display preferences are stored locally on your device.
The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements (banner and interstitial ads). Google AdMob may collect certain information automatically, including:
Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID) — used to serve and measure ads
Device information — device model, operating system version, screen size
Network information — IP address, network connection type
Ad interaction data — impressions, clicks, and views
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have direct access to the raw data collected by Google AdMob.

Retention: Data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed, or until you choose to delete it within the app.
Deletion within the app: You can delete individual diary notes and period history entries directly within the app at any time.
Uninstallation: Uninstalling TrackHer will permanently delete all app data from your device, including all cycle data, notes, preferences, and reading history.

We implement appropriate measures to protect your data:
All personal and health data is stored locally on-device and is protected by your device's own security mechanisms (lock screen, encryption, etc.).
The app does not create user accounts, so there is no risk of credential-based data breaches.
The app uses Android's SharedPreferences (private mode) and SQLite databases, which are sandboxed and accessible only to the TrackHer app.
Release builds use code minification and obfuscation (ProGuard/R8) to protect app logic.
While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your information.
TrackHer is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app contains health-related content about menstrual cycles, ovulation, and reproductive health that is intended for an adult and adolescent (13+) audience.

However, advertisements served by Google AdMob may direct you to third-party websites or apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or app features. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
