I am a Psychology major with a developing focus in forensic Psychology and research methodology. My academic interests include decision-making, memory processes, social influence, and the ethical application of Psychological science within legal and investigative contexts.
Throughout my coursework, I have developed a strong interest in analyzing research design, identifying methodological strengths and weaknesses, and understanding how bias influences interpretation of data.
I am particularly interested in forensic psychology, research methodology, and the ethical application of psychological science within legal systems. My academic focus centers on understanding how data literacy, bias awareness, and sound research design influence decision-making in high-stakes environments.
I am especially drawn to examining how cognitive bias, flawed reasoning, and methodological weaknesses can influence investigative processes and judicial outcomes. Strengthening research literacy and analytical reasoning is central to my academic development.
My long-term goal is to continue strengthening my research literacy and analytical skills in preparation for advanced study and professional work in psychology.
