This Privacy Policy applies to TraceTap: Visual Auto Clicker, Android package com.crtyt.tracetap, published by crt. It explains how TraceTap accesses, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the app.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at geomancer0815@gmail.com.
TraceTap lets you create and run automation steps, including taps, swipes, waits, and image recognition.
The app stores scripts, configured actions, recognition rules, selected image samples, and related settings on your device. When you authorize screen access, TraceTap processes screen images on your device to capture samples and compare the screen with your configured recognition targets.
Captured images may contain information visible in other apps, including sensitive information. Please consider what is visible before capturing a sample or exporting a script.
TraceTap stores recent run records and diagnostic information locally so you can review results and troubleshoot automation. These records can include script and step names, timing, execution results, device and permission information, and app error details.
When you choose to export or share a script or diagnostic file, the app writes the selected information to the destination you choose. Script exports can include saved image samples. Diagnostic exports can include script and rule names and app error information. Anyone you share a file with may be able to read its contents.
The local automation data described in this section is separate from the advertising and crash-reporting data described in Section 3.
TraceTap uses Android's AccessibilityService to perform the taps, swipes, and supported navigation actions you configure. The current app does not use this service to retrieve on-screen text or the contents of accessibility nodes.
You enable this service in Android settings and can disable it there at any time. Disabling it prevents automation actions that require the service.
TraceTap requests Android screen-capture authorization for sample capture and image recognition. While screen access is active, it processes captured screen images for these functions. You can stop screen sharing using the controls provided by Android or the app. Image recognition requires screen access.
This permission displays floating controls and editing or capture interfaces over the target app. The overlay permission itself does not grant access to screen images; screen capture uses separate Android authorization.
Where required by Android, notification permission is used to display service and automation status notifications.
The app uses Android file-selection and sharing interfaces to import and export files you choose. Exported files are stored at your selected destination.
TraceTap uses Google AdMob to display app open and rewarded advertisements. Depending on the SDK configuration and your privacy choices, Google may process advertising or other device identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location inferred from an IP address, advertisement interactions, and diagnostic information. This information supports advertisement delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
You can manage your Android advertising ID and related preferences through the options available in your device settings. Google's handling of advertising data is described in its policies:
TraceTap uses Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and improve reliability. Reports can contain error messages and stack traces, app version, device model and operating system information, installation identifiers, and technical native crash dump data. We also include app build and version information.
We do not add screenshots, image samples, or script contents as custom Crashlytics attachments. Exception messages and native crash dump data are nevertheless part of crash diagnostics.
Crash reporting is enabled in the current production configuration. Crash diagnostics are transmitted to Firebase and made available to us through its crash-reporting service.
If you email us or voluntarily send a diagnostic file, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond and investigate the reported issue. Please avoid sending passwords or unrelated sensitive information.
We use information to provide the automation features you request, diagnose problems, maintain app reliability, display advertisements, and respond to your requests.
Advertising data is processed by Google AdMob, and crash diagnostics are processed by Firebase Crashlytics, as described above. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or to respond to a valid legal request.
We do not operate an account-registration service or a cloud synchronization service for your scripts in the current app.
Scripts, image samples, settings, and local run records are stored on your device. You can use the app's available deletion or clearing functions, or clear the app's data in Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes its private app data. Files you exported or shared outside that storage remain at their selected destinations until you or the recipient delete them.
According to Firebase's published retention information, Crashlytics retains crash traces, extracted native crash data, and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning deletion from its live and backup systems. Raw native minidumps are stored temporarily for processing. See Firebase's retention information for details.
Advertising data is handled under Google's applicable retention and deletion policies. We retain support correspondence while needed to address the issue or meet applicable legal obligations.
For requests relating to information we or our service providers hold, contact geomancer0815@gmail.com. We will assess the request and respond in accordance with applicable requirements. Because TraceTap has no user accounts, an email address alone may not identify a particular installation's crash or advertising records.
Local app data uses Android's app storage protections. Exported files are subject to the security of the destination you choose. SDK diagnostic transmission uses HTTPS. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Google and Firebase may process information in countries other than your own. Their applicable privacy and data-processing terms describe their international processing and safeguards.
You can stop automation and screen sharing, revoke Android permissions, manage device advertising preferences, and delete local app data as described above.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may have a right to withdraw that consent. Contact geomancer0815@gmail.com to make a request. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority.
TraceTap is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy when the app or our data practices change. We will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
