Sam Keelan is an artist working primarily in video and performance. Who is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Art. He is interested in the idea of failure, and the disappointment that often accompanies it. He explores through his work how things that once seemed very important twist when we’re confronted with the true banality and ridiculousness of them. His video and performance work serve to exaggerate our domestic rituals, through a combination of repetition and created personas. Making the everyday unfamiliar and monstrous.
