Hair & Make Up

Hair and Make Up for Debut Dance classes (ages 3-7)

Hair is your choice. Blush and berry lipstick is all the younger kiddos need.

Our sweetie pies just need enough color to make their beautiful faces seen under the bright stage lights.

Did your Debut costume come with a hat? We recommend using alligator clips instead of bobby pins to make it easier for it to go on their sweet little head.

Hair and Make Up for all other classes

NEW THIS SEASON! All Next Steps and Teen classes will wear a bun*. Think of a classy bun slightly above the crown of the head like Audrey Hepburn. See video for easy instruction and visit Sally Beauty Supply for Bun shapers, hair nets and bobby pins.

Teams

(Dance Company & Dance Squads)

NEW! Low center bun (part located on dancer's left, bun located in the center of the nape of the neck.)

Be sure to use gel or hair spray to tame fly-aways. Use a hair colored hair net and secure the bun with a gazillion bobby pins.

A Few No-No’s: Sticker tattoos, fingernail polish, jewelry, panties, body glitter, hair glitter.

Helpful Tip: Wear an adult-sized long sleeve, buttoned dress shirt over your costume as a cover up. That way, your hair and make up doesn't get ruined, but your costume stays a surprise before the audience sees you in it on stage!
