Change Settings Of Extender By Logging Into TP-Link Extender

Using an Ethernet cable, connect your WiFi repeater to the router.
Switch on both devices after connecting them to the available wall sockets.
Now, open a web browser like IE.
Into the address field of browser, type the TP-Link extender login domain name.
You will see the admin portal of your WiFi range extender.
Two blank fields named User name and Password will appear.
Authenticate yourself by providing the correct TP-Link login user name and password.
Note: The fields appearing on the TP Link login page depends upon the extender model you own. While logging in to some extenders, only the Password field shows up. Therefore, do not get confused.

Can’t Access TP-Link Extender Login Page?
If you are not able to log in to your repeater and access the login page either using the web or IP address, there are chances that you’ve made a typing error in the address entrée. So, make sure that you have entered the correct address into the URL field of the browser. Plus, verify that you are using the correct TP-Link login username and password. If you still fail to do TP-Link extender login, you need to ensure that your computer or laptop has successfully acquired the IP from the repeater. You can follow these steps to check the same. For demonstration, Windows 7 has been used:
Click Start and open Control Panel.
Go to Network and Sharing Center after selecting the Network and Internet option.
View network connection details via the path Local Area Connection > Details.
Your PC’s IPv4 address must be 192.168.0.X whereas the default gateway must match the IP address of the extender.
If not, then change IPv4 properties by accessing Local Area Connection settings.
Tick the Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically options.
In case there is no problem with the above settings, then you must disable the network adapter on your PC and enable it after a few moments. It can also be done by accessing the Local Area Connection Settings of the computer used for TP Link extender login. Once your system obtains the correct IP address, try logging in to your device via the TP-Link login username and password again.
