If you want a versatile, ultra-lightweight open-ear experience with smart AI integration for daily life and sports, choose TOZO OpenEarRing True Open; if you need a dedicated, bone-conduction device built specifically to survive full submersion and play music without a phone while swimming, choose KESIEME Swimming Headphones.
This is not a close call between two similar gadgets. One is designed as an all-purpose companion for the active lifestyle on land, while the other is a specialized tool engineered for the unique physics of water. The distinction lies in their core architecture: one relies on standard Bluetooth connectivity and air conduction, whereas the other uses bone conduction technology and internal storage to function independently underwater. Understanding this fundamental difference is the only way to make the right choice for your specific routine, whether that involves running on a treadmill or diving into a pool.
• TOZO OpenEarRing True Open: Offers 40 hours of total battery life and integrates AI chat capabilities, but lacks internal storage for offline playback and is rated IPX67 rather than fully submersible.
• KESIEME Swimming Headphones: Features a robust 32GB internal memory and true IPX8 waterproofing for deep diving, though it sacrifices the long-range Bluetooth versatility and ultra-light weight of the TOZO unit.
• Who is this for?: The TOZO pick suits those who want a primary audio device for commuting, driving, and gym sessions with smartphone connectivity. The KESIEME pick is essential for swimmers who refuse to carry phones or lose signal underwater.
The TOZO OpenEarRing True Open Ear Headphones PM1 is engineered for the person who wants to stay connected to the world while staying safe from isolation. Its design philosophy centers on comfort and extended utility. Weighing just 5.1 grams per earbud, it achieves a pressure-free fit that allows for hours of wear without the fatigue common with traditional in-ear monitors. This makes it an ideal candidate for over ear headphones for pc users who also want to switch seamlessly to outdoor activities, or for anyone needing volume limiting headset with charging case solutions for younger family members who need lightweight gear.
The standout feature here is the sheer duration of use. With a single charge delivering up to 10 hours of playback, the included charging case extends this total to an impressive 40 hours. This is a massive advantage for travelers, long-haul commuters, or anyone who hates the anxiety of a dying battery. The digital display on the case lets you check the remaining power instantly, ensuring you never run out unexpectedly during a critical moment. Furthermore, the rugged outdoor protection with an IPX67 rating means it can handle heavy rain, sweat, and dust without issue, making it perfect for hiking, cycling, or high-intensity interval training on land.
Beyond basic audio, the TOZO unit bridges the gap between hardware and software through its Smart AI Integration. By connecting to the TOZO APP, users gain access to AI chat capabilities, including hands-free conversation with advanced models like ChatGPT. It features intelligent meeting assistance with real-time voice-to-text transcription and multi-language translation. This transforms the headphones from simple music players into productivity tools. Whether you are driving, exercising, or working, the ability to control calls and music with simple touch controls adds a layer of convenience that generic earbuds simply cannot match. However, this device requires a smartphone connection to function at its full potential; it does not have internal storage for independent music playback.

The KESIEME Swimming Headphones represent a completely different category of audio equipment, designed specifically to conquer the limitations of water. If you swim laps regularly, you know the frustration of carrying a phone to the pool edge or worrying about water damage to your expensive wireless buds. The KESIEME S10 solves this by utilizing bone conduction technology. Instead of pushing sound waves into the ear canal, it transmits vibrations directly through the cheekbones to the inner ear. This bypasses the eardrum entirely, allowing you to hear your music with high fidelity while still remaining aware of your surroundings, such as lane markers or other swimmers.
The most defining feature of this product is its independence. It comes equipped with a 32GB memory card capable of storing over 10,000 songs. This means you do not need to pair it with a mobile phone to listen to your playlist. You can jump straight into the pool with the headphones alone, knowing they will play your music uninterrupted. This is a game-changer for true wireless earbuds under 100 dollars that offer genuine freedom from tethered devices. The IPX8 waterproof rating takes this further, testing successfully to withstand depths of up to 99 feet underwater. Unlike the TOZO's splash resistance, the KESIEME is built to be submerged completely without fear of moisture ingress.
Durability and fit are also prioritized for the aquatic environment. The neckband is constructed from memory titanium alloy, making it 360° bendable, compression-resistant, and incredibly flexible. This ensures a secure fit that stays in place even during vigorous flip turns or underwater drills. The device features an LED digital display screen that clearly shows the remaining power and the current listening mode, whether it is Bluetooth or MP3 mode. While it supports Bluetooth 5.4 for connections when you are out of the water, the internal storage is the star of the show. It delivers a 360° stereo surround audio experience with enhanced bass, thanks to advanced sound leakage elimination technology. However, the trade-off is the form factor; at 37.4 grams, it is heavier than the TOZO, and the neckband design is less suitable for casual, all-day wear compared to the clip-on style of the competitor.
• Best for battery longevity → TOZO OpenEarRing True Open: With a combined 40-hour battery life, it far outlasts the KESIEME's 10 hours, making it superior for travel and all-day events.
• Best for underwater performance → KESIEME Swimming Headphones: Only the KESIEME offers true IPX8 submersion capability and internal storage for playing music without a phone underwater.
• Best for AI and productivity features → TOZO OpenEarRing True Open: Exclusive access to AI chat, voice-to-text transcription, and multi-language translation via the app puts it in a league of its own.
• Best for standalone music playback → KESIEME Swimming Headphones: The built-in 32GB memory allows for thousands of songs to be stored locally, eliminating the need for a paired device.
• Best for ultra-lightweight comfort → TOZO OpenEarRing True Open: At 5.1g per bud, it is significantly lighter and less intrusive than the 37.4g neckband design of the KESIEME.
• Best for rugged outdoor durability (land) → TOZO OpenEarRing True Open: The IPX67 rating and rugged shell provide excellent protection against sweat and rain for running and cycling.
• Best for bass and sound isolation → KESIEME Swimming Headphones: Bone conduction drivers with bass enhancement and noise cancellation technology provide a richer, deeper audio profile.
• Best for kids wireless usage → TOZO OpenEarRing True Open: Its extreme lightness and secure clip-on design make it safer and more comfortable for children wearing volume limiting headset with charging case setups.
In my opinion, I would buy the TOZO OpenEarRing True Open for my personal daily use because its combination of extreme lightness, massive battery life, and smart AI features makes it a versatile companion for almost any activity on land. It is the superior choice for someone who wants one device to handle everything from work calls to morning runs. However, if I were planning a serious swimming season where I wanted to leave my phone on the bench, I would immediately switch to the KESIEME Swimming Headphones. For parents looking for durable, safe, and lightweight options for kids wireless audio experiences, the TOZO remains the clear winner due to its weight and safety features. Both are excellent tools, but they serve different masters: the TOZO serves the modern, connected lifestyle, while the KESIEME serves the dedicated athlete who refuses to compromise on their swim.
Only the KESIEME Swimming Headphones are truly waterproof for swimming. They hold an IPX8 rating and are tested to withstand depths of up to 99 feet underwater, whereas the TOZO OpenEarRing is rated IPX67, meaning it handles sweat and rain but should not be submerged.
Yes, the KESIEME model includes 32GB of internal memory that can store over 10,000 songs, allowing you to listen directly from the headphones without needing a Bluetooth connection to a phone. The TOZO model requires a smartphone connection to play audio.
The TOZO OpenEarRing True Open offers superior battery life with up to 40 hours of total playback time and weighs only 5.1 grams per earbud, making it much more comfortable for all-day wear compared to the 10-hour battery and heavier neckband of the KESIEME.
The TOZO OpenEarRing True Open supports Smart AI Integration, allowing users to connect with the TOZO APP for AI chat capabilities and real-time voice-to-text transcription. The KESIEME focuses on audio fidelity and waterproofing and does not list AI integration features.
