The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World is a yearly program launched by JCI that honors ten incredible young leaders.
These individuals must have accomplishments in one of the following fields:
Business, economic and/or entrepreneurial accomplishment
Political, legal and/or governmental affairs
Academic leadership and/or accomplishment
Cultural achievement
Moral and/or environmental leadership
Contribution to children, world peace and/or human rights
Humanitarian and/or voluntary leadership
Scientific and/or technological development
Personal improvement and/or accomplishment
Medical innovation
1. Nominee must be between the ages of 18 and 40
2. Nominee must be a native-born citizen of Lebanon
3. Nominee must not be a current member of JCI Lebanon's National Board or Local Boards
4. Nominee must be entered in only one of the ten categories listed above
5. Nominations must be submitted by 23:59 Wednesday 21st of April 2021
6. Nominations must be in English
7. Self-nominations are allowed
After the nomination window closes, all entries will be judged by an independent Judging Panel. Results will be announced during a virtual ceremony in the last week of April.
Entries will be judged on 3 criteria:
How well the nominee exemplifies the JCI values
How much of an impact the nomineeβs achievement may have made to their community, nation or the world
How much the personβs achievement may inspire others to act
