OVERVIEW

If you walk on any residential area, down the streets you can find some simple art on the road made of twisted white lines. Sometimes it could be of some simple patterns like flowers, leafs and things like lamp, or some interesting geometric patterns. But it does not stop with that. During festival days and occasions you could see bigger art, more colorful, much attention drawing. Yes, we call it "kolam". 

But why would anyone take so much pain in cleaning the street everyday, water it and draw beautiful patterns. You will be amazed to know the cultural, scientific and artistic reasons behind it. At Towntales, learn some simple, cool and interesting patterns of "Kolam"

1. 1 1/2 Hour - INR 500/-

What is included?

• Materials needed for practice.

• Design templates, some colors, and Kolam kit to take home.
