Fall has finally come around. It’s time for sweater season, pumpkin spice lattes galore, and most importantly, the fall play!
This year, the fall play will be based on Murder on The Orient Express, originally a novel by Agatha Christie. Directed by Mr. Lapomardo, this suspenseful tale follows the Orient Express as it stops in its tracks due to a snowdrift. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning, it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.

Mr. Lapomardo, the director of the play, stated, “I think this show is a great choice for our community. We haven't done a murder mystery in almost 20 years and what better to explore that genre than with Agatha Christie's best novel? The students have worked hard connecting the important plot points and laying the clues for viewers to figure out who murdered Samuel Ratchett.”
A sophomore also commented, “As a part of the crew, it is rewarding to see our hard work for the past three months be shown to a wide and loving audience.”
The students and faculty are ecstatic for this thrilling adaptation of the novel! The opening day of the play will be Friday, November 3 at 7 pm, with a second show date on Saturday, November 4 at 7 pm. More information will be coming soon, so make sure you check Schoology!
And if that didn’t make you excited enough, the play is also a Class Cup event! The more people who attend, the more points your class can get. Support your grade, the cast and crew of the fall play by showing up to enjoy this suspenseful and entertaining performance!
See you there!
