Local Waterfront Revitalization Program Update
The Town of Esopus has been working on updating the Town's 1987 Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP). The process began in October of 2020 with the preparation of the Inventory and Analysis of lands and water resources within the Waterfront Revitalization Area (WRA) followed by site visits to the Town's Waterfront Parks and other key shoreline and upland areas. The Waterfront Advisory Committee is being assisted by the Town's planning consultant, Laberge Group to prepare this LWRP Update. See the Town's LWRP webpage for additional information on this ongoing project.
With a significant amount of analysis and research completed, the Town is now ready to seek community input. The in person Open House was held on January 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Esopus Town Hall.
To provide additional opportunities for community input, the virtual Open House has been extended through February 18, 2022 on this site.
This Virtual Open House is organized into the following Sections. To continue the Virtual Open House, please choose Project Background & Process to learn more about the Town's LWRP Update.
