"What is Family Faith Matters!" ?
A family lives what they believe..... What you believe about God or don't believe in God will affect how you talk, how you teach, how you discipline, and how you nurture a child into adulthood. What you teach about faith will influence your children and you for life!

"Family Faith Matters!" purpose is to give parents and family members a sound "theology" that will be foundational for the family life together. In "The Domestic Church" of the family, the faith is taught and caught in teaching stories of faith that give opportunity for meaningful conversations about life and life's meaning. The goal for Family Faith Matters! is to be a tool and resource to bring spirituality, togetherness, peace, love, hope, and grace to families at they live together.

Toward the Dawn does not require families to stop belonging to a location church. Toward the Dawn Youth and Family ministry focuses solely on helping youth and families wherever they are and however they come. And it is FREE.

"Faith Matters Live!" happens every Sunday after the 10:00 am CST Worship Service around 11am CST. You can simply go to the Worship Zoom Log in at 11am CST or... you can simply come to worship at 10am CST and stay....

Pastor David Tart leads "Faith Matters Live!" . The 15-20 minute session features a video about the Bible story for the day, a discussion and then concludes with a Children's Song. COME AS YOU ARE! (PAJAMAS INCLUDED) AND WHERE YOU ARE.. CAR-BEDROOM, IN NATURE, MAKE THIS PART OF YOUR SUNDAY ROUTINE.

Toward the Dawn celebrates important events and achievements in a child or young person's life. Toward the Dawn offers "Milestone Ministry" during Sunday Worship. Milestones include: Baptism, First day of school, driver's license. special awards. birthdays and any significant event in the life of the child. Toward the Dawn believes community celebrations of these events builds self esteem and encourages faith.

For any middle school age youth Toward the Dawn offers an online confirmation ministry that will conclude with the ritual of confirmation and blessings. This series of lessons and conversations guides the student in a deeper formulation of their faith and what it means to be a Christian.

A student can use his or her own pastor and/or church community as part of his or her confirmation and celebrate confirmation in a "bricks and mortar" Church.
