Why we need your age and what it is used for:
Your age is required so we can be compliant with rules and laws, and to restrict certain features based on how old you set your age to.
You go to the computer in stump, click age, and set it from there. It is not specific to the exact month and day you were born. Please be honest when setting your age.
All you need to do is set your age manually via the game's computer. This age system isn't too strict, but it does restrict certain features based on how old you set your age to.
Users above 13:
Nothing
Users under 13:
Removes almost all mentions of Discord, adds warning to horror map, removes access to certain horror levels, removes in-app purchases (in-game items or currency that costs real money), removes voice chat (and voice moderation), and hides certain items in PvP mode.
Users under 10:
All restrictions from under 13, no multiplayer, removes name and room code tabs from computer, and blocks stump entrance.
You will have certain features removed/hidden. If you are under the age of 10, you will not be able to play the game as using a Meta Quest 2, 3, or 3S requires you to be at least 10 to use services. Other VR headsets will require you to be 13 and over. This game is mainly intended for users over the age of 13, but we will allow users under the age of 13 with parental supervision. Users under 10 years old are not allowed to play the game.
If you set your age to be different that it really is, please contact us. If you set your age to be older than it really is, there is a voice moderation system (Voice Patrol) that can detect your actual age and notify us. If you are a minor (specifically under 13) and you're actual age has been detected, we will completely delete any logs (this includes joining and leaving room codes logs, voice moderation logs, and any other logs) and sensitive information and data from our platforms. Not all information can be deleted.
Please contact us and tell us your child's actual age, username, and PlayFab ID, and we will fix it, delete logs, delete sensitive data, and delete sensitive information from our platforms. We will also delete the emails completely after this has been solved.
