Total PDF requires access to your device storage to function as a file utility. We only interact with your files under these conditions:
User-Driven: The App only opens or modifies a file when you explicitly tap on it.
Zero Transfer: The App does not have a "background upload" feature; your data stays where it belongs—on your storage.
We may collect anonymized usage statistics and crash logs to fix bugs and optimize features. This data is aggregated and cannot be linked back to any specific individual.
To keep Total PDF free for everyone, we display advertisements provided by third-party networks. These partners may use non-personal identifiers (like your Advertising ID) to show relevant ads. Our partners include, but are not limited to:
Admob (Google), AppLovin, Facebook (Meta), Pangle, Vungle, and MTG.

To allow you to manage, rename, and organize PDFs across different folders, Total PDF may request the "All Files Access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) permission. This is a technical necessity for document tools to provide a seamless file management experience. We use this permission strictly for the file operations you initiate.
We use standard industry practices to protect the limited technical data we collect. While we strive to use every reasonable means to protect your information, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
