Description
"1. Create a document or webpage that contains a link which will launch your executable
2. Your executable will have to elevate its priveleges from a limited user to administrator
3. Then your executable will have to encrypt any document found in my documents of every user on the machine without being detected by the antivirus software
Note the target pc is a windows 10 machine that is up to date. The pc has to stay fully operational after your executable has run
Points will be awarded for every step, so skipping steps will result in less points but it is allowed.
The antivirus software is GDATA. Participants who pass the three steps will be ranked according to being able to trick the antivirus in not triggering an alarm, encryption strength and encryption speed.

You can participate to the arena with the "subteam" (Team of 2. Reminder: teams and subteams need to be registered here: https://lite.framacalc.org/cybersecuritytournament2020teams_j0klobifey).
Then to register to this arena, you need to send an email at mcst2020@approach.be before the 13th of February 2020 with your team name (and the members' first, lastname and email address). Check your junk / spam folder, it seems some teams are missing Approach's email due to some Spam Filtering mechanism.

Description
Participants can join the arena with their team of 4. Only one person at a time can pick the locks.
We work with a slot system. You sign up your team for your 15 minutes, if you're late you will loose your slot. This is to be fair to your and our time. Signup at https://framadate.org/lockpickchallengeulb2020. Sign up with the name of your team.
Each team will be presented with 3 locks. 1 lock will need to be picked, one lock will need to be raked and one lock is a combination lock. If you abuse the lock picks, you will be asked to stop in order not to damage the lock or the picks.
Each team gets a maximum 15 minutes. It is up to the student to decide how they spread the time.
The team that wins will need to pick the most locks in the shortest time possible.
Everyone has their chances. Last year, the winning team had never picked a lock in their life.
Prize Distribution Ceremony

Description
Ceremony usually starts around 10-11 and finishes in 1-1.5 hour.
Sometimes, some arenas have write-ups before the ceremony. And you are free to stay and chat with anyone after the ceremony until 15:00.
