The Hebrew word Torah simply and literally means instructions or teachings. The goal in Torah truth-seeking is to have our instructions and teachings come directly from our Creator's inspired written Holy Book. This also includes supportive credible historical information, and to be led into all truth with the help of the Ruach Ha-Kodesh (Holy "Set-Apart" Spirit - AKA: Spirit of Truth) for a more righteous better physical life and especially for eternal Salvation.
The Hebrew word Torah is most commonly referred to as the first five books of the Hebrew Scriptures (the Pentateuch) originally written by Moshe (Moses) and fully inspired by the Most High Elohim. Messianic and Hebrew Roots believers include the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant-Testament) writings written by the first century 100% Jewish apostolic leaders, whose homeland was the land of Israel (nowhere in Europe or the Americas), along with the Tanakh, as the completely inspired Word or Torah of our Maker.
Contrary to popular belief today, as the Most High Elohim said and "as it is written" in Devarim-Deuteronomy 30:10-14,
“However, all this will happen only if you pay attention to what Adonai your G-d says, so that you obey His mitzvot [commandments] and regulations which are written in this book of the Torah, if you turn to Adonai your G-d with all your heart and all your being. (LY: vi) 11) For this mitzvah which I am giving you today is not too hard for you, it is not beyond your reach. 12) It isn’t in the sky, so that you need to ask, ‘Who will go up into the sky for us, bring it to us and make us hear it, so that we can obey it?’ 13) Likewise, it isn’t beyond the sea, so that you need to ask, ‘Who will cross the sea for us, bring it to us and make us hear it, so that we can obey it?’ 14) On the contrary, the word is very close to you — in your mouth, even in your heart; therefore, you can do it!" It should also be realized that all the translations from all the original holy oracles have NOT been translated perfectly, as well as all the ancient languages have changed a little through the centuries, including the Hebrew language and grammar. This is why there are times when we need to see the importance of compatible supportive credible historical and/or scholarly information, regarding diverse possible oracle translations, and most of all we need the Ruach Ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) for the divine personal revelation of all Truth.
This whole written Word is like a jigsaw puzzle with all the inspired topics of His instructions scrambled here a little and there a little, so that only those of us with His help can put all the compatible pieces together correctly for the big picture and accurate conclusions (Isaiah 28:10-11). In other words, the Bible does interpret itself when the entirety of it in its expository context is taken into serious sincere consideration and without any contradictions, oxymorons, unconscious biases, or prejudices.
