If you want over ear headphones for tv watching with a soft, pressure-free design that lets you sleep through the night, choose TOPIEI Sleep Headphones; if you need best wireless headset for tv watching while staying alert to your surroundings during active use, choose PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones.
• TOPIEI Sleep Headphones: The standout strength is its multi-functional headband design with ultra-thin speakers that eliminate ear pressure, paired with an impressive 17-hour battery life; however, it lacks active noise cancellation and requires careful handling of the fabric. This pick is for side sleepers, shift workers, or anyone prioritizing comfort and long-duration listening without bulk.
• PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones: The primary advantage is its open-ear technology that keeps you aware of your environment, combined with IPX8 waterproofing and 32GB internal storage for phone-free swimming; the trade-off is a shorter 8-hour battery life and a more rigid fit compared to soft fabrics. This pick is for athletes, swimmers, or runners who need situational awareness and durability in harsh conditions.
The TOPIEI Sleep Headphones are engineered specifically for the person who values comfort above all else, particularly when trying to drift off. The design philosophy here is radical simplicity: it combines a sleep mask, hair band, wrist guard, and headphones into one seamless piece of equipment. What stands out most is the placement of the control module on the forehead and the inclusion of ultra-thin 0.2-inch speakers that rest gently near your ears rather than pressing directly against them. For someone who tosses and turns or sleeps on their side, traditional over-ear cups or in-ear buds often create painful pressure points that ruin the experience. With this headband, the weight is distributed across the forehead and the sound comes from thin drivers that slide under the hair, meaning you can lie flat on your side without feeling like you are wearing a headset at all.
The battery performance is another massive selling point for heavy users. With a 250mAh battery capacity, this device offers up to 17 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. This is not just enough for a full night's sleep; it is enough to carry you through an entire work shift or a long weekend of travel without needing to hunt for a charger. The Bluetooth 5.2 chip ensures a stable connection up to 60 feet away, so you can leave your phone in another room and still enjoy uninterrupted audio. Whether you are listening to white noise to block out a snoring partner, audiobooks to wind down, or music to relax, the 17-hour window provides a sense of freedom that few other sleep aids offer.

This product is ideal for light sleepers, parents who need to stay connected to the baby monitor while drifting off, or anyone who shares a bed and needs to keep the volume low without disturbing their partner. The materials are crafted from a blend of 95% polyester and 5% spandex, making the band soft, stretchy, and sweat-wicking. You can even wash it, which is a practical necessity for hygiene over long-term use. However, if you are looking for a device to wear while running in the rain or need to hear traffic around you, this is not the right tool. It is a dedicated relaxation and sleep device, not an active sports tracker. If you want a quiet, comfortable way to listen to TV shows late at night without waking your spouse, this is the solution.
The PSIER Bone Conduction Headphones serve a completely different demographic, targeting those who need to stay connected to the world while consuming media. The core technology here is bone conduction, which bypasses the eardrum entirely to transmit sound through the cheekbones. This results in an "open-ear" design where your ear canals remain unblocked. For the user who wants to watch TV or listen to a podcast while keeping an eye on the kids, monitoring a doorbell, or simply being aware of their environment during a run, this is a game-changer. You never have to worry about missing a crucial sound because your ears are physically open to the air. The silicone cushions provide a secure fit, but the defining feature is the ability to hear both the audio and the room simultaneously.
Durability and versatility define the PSIER experience. With an IPX8 waterproof rating, these headphones can be submerged in water up to two meters deep for an hour. This makes them suitable for serious swimmers, as they come with 32GB of internal memory to store up to 4,000 songs. You can switch to MP3 mode underwater via a double-click on the power button, allowing for a truly wireless swimming session without a single wire or Bluetooth dependency. The Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity (note: data sheet lists version 6.0) promises ultra-low latency, which is critical for syncing audio with video content like TV watching or gaming. The magnetic charging cable allows for a quick 2-hour charge cycle, though the total playtime is capped at 8 hours, which is sufficient for a day of intense activity but less than the overnight capability of the TOPIEI.
This headset is perfect for runners, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize safety and situational awareness. The built-in microphone supports crystal-clear calls, making it easy to take work calls while on a jog. The companion app offers AI music generation and customizable EQ settings, giving users control over their sound profile. However, the trade-off is that the fit is more rigid than a soft headband, and the sound quality, while rich due to the 14mm drivers, relies on the physics of bone vibration which some purists find distinct from traditional speakers. If you are looking for the best with mic in ear earbuds for tv watching but also plan to use them for gym sessions or swimming, the PSIER covers all those bases. Just remember that the 8-hour battery life means you will need to charge it daily if you use it for extended periods.

In my opinion, I would buy the TOPIEI Sleep Headphones if my primary goal was watching TV before bed or sleeping comfortably. The combination of the 17-hour battery, the ultra-thin speaker design, and the soft fabric construction creates a user experience that feels almost invisible once put on. For the specific use case of over ear headphones for tv watching while lying down, nothing beats the comfort of a headband that doesn't press against your ear cartilage. While the PSIER is an incredible piece of engineering for swimmers and runners, the TOPIEI solves the specific problem of "how do I listen to audio without hurting my ears while sleeping?" much more effectively. If you are looking for the best wireless headset for tv watching in a bedroom setting, the TOPIEI is the clear winner for its comfort and endurance.
