Privacy Policy
TopPocket privacy policy explains how data is collected, used, shared, and protected when using the TopPocket app and related services (the Services). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
1.1 Information collected
A) Account and identity (Sign in with Apple / Google)
TopPocket supports Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In. When signing in, Apple/Google may share:
a provider user identifier (used to keep the account signed in)
name (only if the user shares it)
email address (only if the user shares it; Apple may provide a relay email if “Hide My Email” is used)
profile image (Google may provide one depending on settings)
TopPocket does not receive or store Apple/Google passwords. Apple/Google handles authentication.
B) Content created in the app
If marketplace features are used, TopPocket may store:
card photos/images uploaded or captured (for scanning or listings)
listing details (title, description, price, condition, category)
messages, offers, and other user-to-user communication inside the app
profile details the user chooses to add (e.g., display name)
C) Automatically collected data
TopPocket may collect:
device and app info (device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone)
usage info (basic feature usage to improve the app)
diagnostics (crash logs and performance data)
D) Camera and photo library (optional)
If scanning or uploading images, the app requests permission to access the camera and/or photo library. Permissions can be changed anytime in device settings.
E) Location (optional)
If location features are enabled (e.g., nearby listings), the app may collect approximate or precise location depending on what is allowed. Location can be turned off in device settings.
F) Notifications (optional)
If notifications are enabled, the app may send notifications about messages, offers, and service updates. Notifications can be turned off in device settings.
1.2 How data is used
Data is used to:
provide and operate features (accounts, scanning, listings, messaging, offers)
keep the Services safe (fraud and abuse prevention, enforcement of rules)
improve stability and user experience (bug fixes, performance, feature improvements)
respond to support and send important notices
comply with legal obligations
1.3 How data is shared
Data may be shared:
with other users when posting listings or sending messages (listing content, chosen display name, and messages sent)
with service providers that help run the app (hosting, databases, analytics, crash reporting, customer support). Providers only process data to deliver services for the app
with Apple/Google as part of sign-in flows
for legal and safety reasons if required by law or to protect users and the Services
during a business transfer (e.g., acquisition) if ownership changes
TopPocket does not sell personal information.
1.4 Tracking and advertising
TopPocket is not intended to use data for cross-app tracking advertising. If tracking is introduced later, permission will be requested where required and choices will be provided.
1.5 Data retention
Data is kept only as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate purposes like security, dispute handling, and legal compliance. When an account is deleted, TopPocket deletes or de-identifies personal information where reasonably possible, subject to legal and safety obligations.
1.6 Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
1.7 International processing
Some service providers may process or store data outside Australia. Reasonable steps are taken to protect data when this occurs.
1.8 Children
TopPocket is not intended for children. TopPocket does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
1.9 Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date will be updated and important changes may be communicated in the app.

Account Deletion and Data Requests
TopPocket supports account login (Apple/Google). Requests supported:
delete account
delete personal information (where applicable)
access or correct information
2.1 Delete account (in-app)
In the app: Profile page → Delete Account.
2.2 Delete account (email)
If the app can’t be accessed, email pawsestudios@gmail.com
Subject: TopPocket Account Deletion
Include: the sign-in email used (Google email or Apple relay email) and any details that help identify the account.
Verification may be requested to protect the account.

State the request: access, correction, or deletion.
Terms of Use
These Terms govern use of TopPocket (the Services). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
3.1 Accounts
Sign in is available via Apple and Google. Keeping the account secure is the user’s responsibility. No impersonation or fraudulent accounts.
3.2 User content
Users are responsible for uploaded or posted content (images, listings, descriptions, messages). Content must be lawful and must not infringe others’ rights.
A license is granted to TopPocket to host, store, reproduce, and display content only to operate and improve the Services (for example, displaying listings to other users).
3.3 Marketplace rules
Users agree not to list counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or illegal goods. Item descriptions must be honest. Users must not harass, scam, or abuse others.
3.4 Prohibited conduct
Users must not:
scam, defraud, or abuse chargebacks
post illegal, abusive, harassing, or hateful content
scrape the Services, reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with systems
bypass safety controls, spam users, or evade enforcement
3.5 Transactions are between users
Any transaction is between buyer and seller. TopPocket does not guarantee authenticity, legality, quality, safety, pricing, or that a transaction completes. Disputes are handled between users.
3.6 Enforcement
TopPocket may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend, or terminate accounts for rule violations or to protect users and the Services. Features may change over time.
3.7 Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided as-is without warranties.
3.8 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TopPocket is not liable for indirect or consequential losses or disputes arising from user-to-user transactions. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the minimum allowed by law.
3.9 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia.
