I broke the computer and I have to reinstall toon boom Animate. Toon boon animate is an update from Toon Boom Studio 5. Version 5 of Toon Boom Studio is an update of previous versions. How should I proceed? I have to install them all?

I looked at the demo animation and Studio should allow you to do this. Studio has an excellent system for creating multiple planes of animated drawings and allowing camera movement.
The advantage you get in Animate Pro and above is the ability to pivot the camera and scenes in a 3D rotational space. The particular scene you listed does not require this feature, though.
Studio is the best place to start. Get to know it well.

The fix: Close Toonboom Animate if open. Make sure your new font is .TTF (if it is not, you can convert them online). When you have your .TTF fonts go to: C:\Program Files\Toon Boom Animation\Toon Boom Animate Pro 2\resources\fonts on your computer and move your new fonts (.TTF versions) to this folder.
for some strange reason, whenever i play back the animation within toon boom animate, there is some lag, some frames skipping. The lag actually stops at times and doesnt occur, but it usualy does. i have a strong imac computer that loads quick, and yet toonboom still has trouble playing the animation at times. is there a way to fix this?
If your just starting out and all you want to do is basically import pictures and animate them the perhaps Crazy Talk would be a better fit. Once you want to step up and do more professional type work then you might want to step up to Animate or Harmony.
Ease of use is a relative term. It is easier to learn software that has a very deep learning curve that is well documented and has a wealth of training resources then trying to learn software that has a shallow learning curve but is devoid of documentation and has few or little training resources. I have to say that in regards to this Anime Studio has a wealth of training resources. Learning one software well will carry over to learning similar software in regards to knowledge but not necessarily function. Each software will bury their functions is different places and once you know where the equivalent pieces are then the transfer is possible. This is the principle of tutorial books that are written in non-software centric form.
