Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy is a humanistic holistic approach paying attention to the mind, body and spirit. As a Gestaltist, I aim to create an environment in which it is possible to explore how we relate to the world and how we make meaning of our experience. I believe that given sufficient support, people will gravitate towards healthier choices and will thrive. Through my own personal experience of Gestalt therapy I learned to be more compassionate towards myself, less self critical and worked on unfinished business from the past.

Gestalt is a relational therapy. Healing can take place through the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client in the ‘here and now’. Gestalt aims to increase awareness and through this comes more freedom to make choices.
