Welcome!

I am an assistant professor of economics at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.

My research focuses on the causes and consequences of environmental, development and health issues, as well as their policy solutions in adaptation and mitigation, with an interdisciplinary perspective from economics and science to facilitate sustainable development in developing and developed economies. The topics include human capital and behavior, transparency and accountability, information and technology, and inequality. I employ quasi-experimental and experimental designs to examine the costs and benefits of solutions to challenges in pollution, climate change, and resources for evidence-based policymaking.

Previously, I was a research assistant professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University. I obtained my PhD from HKUST and bachelor's degrees from Peking University.
