Dr Tong Rong （童蓉）

Dr Tong Rong is currently an Assistant Professor with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Infocomm Technology (ICT) Cluster. She is a recipient of Inauguration Grant of the MOE Singapore Teaching and Academic Research Talent (START) Award 2022. She is actively involved in teaching and services. She is also a member of the SIT x NVIDIA AI center (SNAIC). Prior to joining SIT,  she was with Singapore R&D center, Alibaba Damo Academy from 2017 to 2022. Earlier in her career, she worked as a scientist in Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore. Dr Tong Rong is an experienced researcher and engineer in multilingual speech and language processing. She is a senior member of IEEE, she has published papers in international journal and conferences. She has been involved in many speech and language processing projects.
