Hull Cleaning and Inspections
Build-up on your boat's hull can drastically decrease your boat's performance, over-tax your engine, and damage your boat's hull or paint.
In our warm Gulf Coast waters, boats that sit in the slip will quickly acquire algae and barnacle build-up. While build-up tends to occur more slowly if you use your boat frequently, it still builds up -- particularly on parts of the boat that see less rigorous waterflow.
If possible, we recommend putting your boat on a 4-6 week service plan (depending on factors in your marina) to avoid the deterioration of your boat and its performance, as well as higher one-time cleaning prices.
Hull-Cleaning Pricing Information
Pricing is generally provided via an official estimate or quote, but here are some general guidelines.
Basic Service Fee: $4/foot LOA with a $100 minimum. Boats on a regular service plan generally will not pay more than this for cleaning.
One-Time Service: Add $30 to Basic Service Fee for Medium Build-Up. Add $60 to Basic Service Fee for Heavy Build-Up. Final pricing subject to inspection.
Multihulls: Under 35 feet, additional hulls are each 50% of the first hull. Over 35 feet, additional hulls are 75% of the first hull.
Anode Inspection and Replacement
Anode Inspection and Replacement
When we clean your hull, we will inspect and measure your anodes. If your anodes have deteriorated significantly and we have the correct ones on hand, we can replace them for you on the spot. Otherwise, we are happy to schedule a time to replace them.
Estimates for anode replacement will be given along with the findings from our five-point inspection.
Propeller Inspection and Replacement
Propeller Inspection and Replacement
We frequently replace propellers that have been damaged due to grounding and electrolysis. Yours will be examined during our five-point inspection and pricing will be provided for replacement.Â
And, of course, your existing propeller will be thoroughly cleaned during our hull cleaning services.
