@everyone can only be used in the #general channel, which is a channel that all members (except guests) are automatically added to. This mention will notify everyone in the #general channel whether their availability is set to active or away.

Use @channel to let everyone in a channel know about timely, relevant information. This will trigger a desktop or mobile notification for all members of the channel, whether their availability is set to active or away.

A Brand Account is an account that is specifically for your brand. This account is different from your personal Google Account. If a channel is linked to a Brand Account, more than one Google Account can manage it.

It is your responsibility to protect sensitive account sign-in info and proactively create a plan to maintain access to your account before any issues arise. To recover your channel, follow these tips for account recovery.

One of the benefits of Microsoft 365 Apps is that Microsoft provides new (and updated) features for Office apps, such as Excel and Word, regularly. You can control how often the users in your organization get these new features by specifying the update channel.

In addition to new features, update channels provide, as needed, security and non-security updates regularly, every month. Non-security updates provide fixes for known issues and provide stability or performance improvements for Office.

But, we realize that there are multiple factors that determine which update channel you select for your deployment of Microsoft 365 Apps. For example, network bandwidth utilization, end-user training and support, line-of-business applications, and other organizational requirements.

Not all devices in your organization have to be configured with the same update channel. For example, IT staff and application developers might be on Current Channel (Preview), so that they can try out upcoming new Office features, while the rest of the organization is on Monthly Enterprise Channel. When you implement various update channels in your organization, consider that different user groups might have access to distinct features based on their update channel. This variation in features can make collaboration between groups more challenging.

The default update channel for Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise and Microsoft 365 Apps for business is Current Channel. This channel is also the default for the subscription versions of the Project and Visio desktop apps.

You can download the Administrative Template files (ADMX/ADML) and enable the Update Channel policy setting. When you enable the policy setting, you can select the appropriate update channel from a drop-down list. You can find this policy setting under Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Office 2016 (Machine)\Updates.

If you allow your users to install Office for themselves from the portal, you can specify which update channel they install. To do that, sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with your admin account, go to Show all > Settings > Org settings > Services > Microsoft 365 installation options, and then choose the appropriate update channel for your users. This setting applies to all users in your tenant and only applies to users that install Office for themselves from the portal.

By default, non-private channels are unmoderated, meaning anyone can post, react, and reply to posts. Team owners can set moderation roles for a channel to control this. Owners can also add team members as moderators. Establishing moderators can be helpful if you want to create, for example, an announcements channel, or a channel devoted to a specific topic.

Ā Channels of the device and the device's Earth ground are electrically isolated from one another. Channel-to-Earth isolation is represented in the Figure 1. Voltages of the isolated front end (Va-c ) are on the same bus; these voltages are not isolated from one another. Ve,d are on a separate bus and are isolated from the front end. This is the most fundamental type of isolation and this protection is covered by bank and channel-to-channel isolation. Channel-to-Earth Ground Isolation can also be thought of as Channel-to-Bus isolation with only one bank, as in the case of the NI 6230. Normally, this isolation type is present on NI 9000 series modules and some SCC modules.

Ā Channels of a device are banked (grouped) together to share a single isolation amplifier. Figure 2 represents Bank isolation. In this topology, the common-mode voltage difference between channels is limited, but the common-mode voltage between the bank of channels and the non-isolated part of the measurement system can be large. In other words, individual channels are not isolated, but the channel groups are isolated from one another and earth ground. Bank1, Bank2, Vi, and Vj,k are on separate buses and isolated from one another.

Ā Each channel is isolated from every other channel and other non-isolated components. Figure 3 represents channel-to-channel isolation. Va,b, Vc,d, Ve,f, and Vg,h are all on separate buses and are isolated from one another.

Note: If the device has a channel-to-channel specification and has AI, AO, and DI/O, such as the NI 6154, the DI/O channels are bank isolated from the other channel-to-channel isolated AI and AO channels.

Solution providers today face a long list of challenges, from economic uncertainty and supply chain disruptions to shortages of skilled workers. Successful channel executives recognize the increasingly strategic role played by solution providers play and develop strategies and create partner programs that help partners meet those challenges. Here are our 2023 Channel Chief honorees.

From providing a path to more profit for partners to helping them create new practices in hot markets, channel chiefs explain why they are looking to enable existing and new strategic channel partners as an engine for growth.

@AnastasiaLogan I believe this is actually there. I simply went to the Files tab of the channel in which the file 'lives' (although as all of us understand, the file is actually living in Sharepoint...just visible in Teams). I selected the 'copy link' option from the ellipses of the file. The standard link dialogue box from Sharepoint popped up. Our org defaults to 'everyone in your organization'. I actually wanted it limited to those that are in the team. So I changed to 'those with existing access' link type, created/copied it. Then I went to the other channel where I wanted to have access to the file (but not create a copy, as has been rightly pointed out as a bad idea). In the post, I just pasted the link. Teams automatically knew not only to not print the long ugly Sharepoint link, but it actually created the link in the new post as a file icon...and moreover it shows where the source file lives in the Teams structure. I believe I recall this has been around for a while in Teams. I used it in a previous org (this is years ago), and am only returning to it in this instance for this new org. And the look/feel is very much like what I remembered years back. In other words, I think this has been there for a while (and maybe just not known that it was that simple?)

For whatever it's worth, the two channels that are cross referencing each other are both 'standard' channel types (meaning that team members have access to these channels). I don't know if mixing/matching private or share channels would be the same.

The northern Channel Islands were home to many native Chumash communities who are believed to have inhabited the islands for thousands of years. When Europeans first reached the islands in the 16th century, they discovered a rich culture dependent upon the resources of the land and the sea for sustenance and survival. By the nineteenth century, the islands were fulfilling different purposes: vast sheep and cattle ranches occupied Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, and San Miguel islands and the channel waters were aggressively harvested for fish and marine mammals. The remains of ancient Chumash villages are intermingled with historic ranch complexes and later military structures, testifying to the diverse heritage of human experience on these offshore islands.

Channel 4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation. It is publicly owned but, unlike the BBC, it receives no public funding and is funded entirely by its commercial activities, including publicity.[1] It began its transmission in 1982 and was established to provide a fourth television service in the United Kingdom. At the time, the only other channels were the licence-funded BBC1 and BBC2, and a single commercial broadcasting network ITV.

Originally a subsidiary of the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA),[2] the station is now owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation, a public corporation of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport,[3] which was established in 1990 and came into operation in 1993. Until 2010, Channel 4 did not broadcast in Wales, but many of its programmes were re-broadcast there by the Welsh fourth channel S4C. In 2010, Channel 4 extended service into Wales and became a nationwide television channel. The network's headquarters are in London and Leeds, with creative hubs in Glasgow and Bristol.[4]

The notion of a second commercial broadcaster in the United Kingdom had been around since the inception of ITV in 1954 and its subsequent launch in 1955; the idea of an "ITV2" was long expected and pushed for. Indeed, television sets sold throughout the 1970s and early 1980s often had a spare tuning button labelled "ITV 2" or "IBA 2". Throughout ITV's history and until Channel 4 finally became a reality, a perennial dialogue existed between the GPO, the government, the ITV companies and other interested parties, concerning the form such an expansion of commercial broadcasting would take. Most likely, politics had the biggest impact leading to a delay of almost three decades before the second commercial channel became a reality.[6] ff782bc1db
