Relics are special collectibles in Tomb Raider. Relics are artifacts found in most levels. Most levels contain multiple relics though some have none. There are fifteen total sets for a total of 42 relics.

The origin of Relics is dealt with in the webnovel "Return of the Disaster Class Hero" which serves as a prequel to Tomb Raider King. The relics were originally Gods of the Divine World who were punished by the Disaster-Class Hero for attempting to harm humans and were put into a cycle of reincarnation which caused their souls to be reborn at various points in space and time as Relics to be used by Humans.

Relics have always hated humans and will do anything they can to ensure they suffer for eternity. If the three greatest human desires were food, sex, and sleep, the three greatest desires of relics were to look down on humans, ridicule humans, and kill humans. However, since they are tools, they will lose power and vanish completely if no human takes them as their masters. Also, for higher ranked relics, they would lose their powers and become antiques if they do things to help humans. Furthermore, they only want the worst of humans as their masters which are people who would do anything for money and power. Consequently, higher ranked relics such as Zeus's Eagle and Prometheus's Relic decided to form contracts with greedy and power hungry individuals in which, in exchange for granting humans their powers, they must use them to control the world and enslave the people. This, in turn, led to the creation of Pandora.

However, not all relics despise humans. For instance, Set's Pile likes their fried chicken whereas Osiris's Hourglass likes watching K-pop stars on television. Although relics are normally looked down upon and executed for liking humans, their reasons were too petty and personal to be deemed as crimes that deserve punishment.

Sometime later, the Crow, an Evil God/Divine-grade relic that is more powerful and more dangerous than normal God/Divine-grade relics, decided to betray relics and side with humanity by forming a contract with a human in order to consume and absorb the powers of all the higher ranked relics. The motive behind its betrayal was that it realized the true effects of relics on humans and how it would lead to the destruction of mankind and the world if Pandora and the greedy monopolizers continue on their paths to control the world and enslave the people. After going against what relics are planning, it tried to rebel but the relics eventually succeeded in tempting its foolish owner to abandon the Crow which allowed them to slay the human and imprison the Crow.

After being imprisoned for a long time in The Great Prison, the Crow woke up at the sound of Seo Joo-Heon's loud and angry voice after he and his team were betrayed and thrown away by Chairman Kwon Tae-Joon and the other members of TKBM. It first views him as a greedy and foolish thief before becoming intrigued at the fact that Seo Joo-Heon can hear and understand it. Consequently, after listening to him talk for a while, the Crow acknowledged that it would be a waste for a talented individual like Seo Joo-Heon to perish here and decided to give him a chance to try and claim the throne of a king this time as it forms and concludes a partial contract with him and sends his consciousness back in time 15 years. After all, it seems that, unlike the first owner of the Crow, Seo Joo-Heon has better compatibility with the relic. Their main goals are also aligned since Seo Joo-Heon wants to take all the relics in the world for himself and is not afraid of destroying them, treating them like trash, and disregarding their beliefs and temptations whereas the Crow wants to consume and absorb the power of higher ranked relics in order to prevent the destruction of mankind and the world. To clarify, they are totally like birds of the same feather.

Relics that are of this type don't have durability, but they have tiredness. The user who made a contract with this type of relic get a tattoo/ownership crest and with that they ca summon the relic any time they want. Only the contracted user can utilize this type of relic. A downside of using this type of relic is the risk, the higher the grade of the relic is, the higher the risk is. Risk makes the user more sick and fatigued and the only way to recover better is by using healing relics and a good relic user specialized in this type of relics. When a person makes a contact with a possession-type relic, the name of the personal will be on a part of the relic and the owner will get an ownership mark somewhere on the body. The ownership mark can summon the relic at any time the owner wants. If the owner dies, the name on the relic will disappear and the relic will become ownerless. If someone wants to make a contact with this type of relic, the user has to match the needs of the relic. If someone has more Dominance than the user, that person can change the ownership to its.

Consumable relics have a certain amount of durability that decreases every time that it is used. anybody can use these relics as they do not have a specific owner. When the durability reaches zero, the relic is destroyed.

The only way to completely destroy a relic is to destroy its core. When a relic's core is destroyed, the soul of the relic and all its memories will vanish. Only Yoo Jae-Ha can repair a relic whose core is destroyed.

There are 42 relics in the game. These are divided into 15 different sets, each of which can be found within a particular area. The list below follows the same order as the Relics screen in the game, not the order in which they are found while playing. This guide is designed to help you find any relics you may have missed. Additional details can be found in the Ā complete walkthroughs for each area.

This relic is #2 on the first visit map. It is located in the area at the top of the waterfall north of the village. It is accessible on the first visit to Mountain Village but only after obtaining the climbing axe. See here for how to reach that area. Once there, climb to the upper floor of the larger hut to find the box with the relic. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)

There are two sets of coin relics: Ancient Coins and Bronze Coins. The Ancient Coins are found in the Cliffside Bunker. The Bronze Coins (below) are located in the Base Approach level. Note that Cliffiside Bunker has no fast travel camps.
