Tomalia’s live performance is centred around her singing and playing the piano with her five piece band. Using the piano as a character, Tomalia serves her sassy and sultry stories exploring the complexities of being a young woman in a modern world. Her theatrical sound is sprinkled with jazz harmony and in-your-face lyrics, paired with strong facial expressions and whole body movement to entrance you into a world of drama which truly is unique.

Tomalia has performed at leading Melbourne venues, including The Night Cat, and sold out her debut headline show. Her music has received airplay on Triple R and SYN Radio, and she was awarded second place in a Monash University Songwriting Competition, influenced by Kate Miller Heidke. Her recent single I Need To Run showcases haunting melodrama and continues to reinforce her reputation as a boundary pushing voice in Naarm’s emerging music scene.

Holding a Bachelor of Music from Monash University and shaped by a classical piano upbringing, Tomalia creates a one of a kind sound that melts cabaret decadence with avant-garde flair.
