JALT MEMBERSHIP (including Tokyo Chapter and one SIG)

Membership in this national organization of language teachers benefits you in a number of ways. JALT membership includes subscriptions to the TLT Newsmagazine (6x/year) and the JALT Journal (2x/year), which offer a wide variety of information and ideas for both academics and classroom teachers. It also includes entry to local JALT events as well as discounts for the annual conference and other conferences offered by SIGs and partners.

You have choice within this membership. Choose your chapter (i.e. Tokyo JALT) or another chapter suitable for you. Then, tailor your membership by selecting the interests closest to you. Full JALT membership includes membership to one chapter and to one Special Interest Group (SIG) of your choosing, plus additional SIGs for a small fee.
