"Tokyo Drift (Fast & Furious)" has had staying power. It has been praised as one of the best songs from the Fast & Furious franchise[3][4] as well as a "badass driving song".[5] In 2020, Time reported on a viral trend of videos that began on TikTok depicting people "drifting" across their hardwood floors.[6] Injury Reserve interpolates the melody in their song, "Jailbreak the Tesla". Indonesian rapper Rich Brian released a "Tokyo Drift Freestyle" during the COVID-19 pandemic that garnered media attention in the United States and Indonesia.[7][8] American rapper Lil Yachty released "T.D", which heavily samples "Tokyo Drift", featuring Tierra Whack, Tyler, The Creator, and ASAP Rocky.[9]American rapper Ski Mask The Slump God samples the song as well in "Where's The Blow?" featuring Lil Pump.

It's got about the same beat as the tokyo drift song, the same dings, but everything but the vocals are cut out so the singers are pretty prominent. The music video is a bunch of teenagers with punkish masks standing in front of various cars with one of them half singing half rapping slowly. It has kind of heavy base but not to much, more like the original beat and some bass. Not exactly a cover or remix, but clearly inspired. I believe at some point, the rapper says "bitch I'm maxed" One of the comments I remember is "Everybody gangsta till kyle starts playing this in his Toyota corolla" Please help!

I listen to a lot of heldeep radio. I'm almost positive the song came from an episode of his but I've been skimming through the them for an hour and can't find it! The song sounds like it's a remix of Tokyo drift by teriyaki boyz. It has the same sounding cord of ringing bells. Every specific remix of the song I've tried isn't it either :(

Erica Banks' breakthrough hit "Buss It," which rose to fame on TikTok in early 2021, was written by Banks herself, but Pharrell is credited as a writer due to the fact the song samples Nelly's "Hot In Herre."

In terms of chords and melody, Tokyo Drift is more basic than the typical song, having below average scores in Chord Complexity, Melodic Complexity, Chord-Melody Tension, Chord Progression Novelty and Chord-Bass Melody. 17dc91bb1f
