Erik
Erik is a male Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie hybrid
a.k.a. “Blue Border Heeler”, known as a Texas Heeler in North America.
He was born on 9.2.2017 in Calgary. Alberta, Canada.
Erik loves running, camping, riding on a quad and going to the park to meet people and other friends.
He is lovable, well-behaved, obedient and he has a crooked sense of humour.
Erik is still intact, and there is still an ongoing debate as to why and why not.
There are many more photos of Erik on my Blog.

After a few months on a raw food diet, Erik seems to be doing well.
To help him get used to travelling, we continue to provide grain-free kibbles (salmon). We also add a spoonful of canned mackerel and high-quality canned dog food to his dish of raw food.
Here's a great YouTube video showing you how we make his food.

Eric has camping chairs of his own; it keeps him clean, is more comfy than the ground, and allows us to generally know where he is. That's where he goes if something goes wrong. He receives a lot of attention from other campers.

Erik enjoys riding on the quad or running alongside it on the game trails; he requests to be lifted back up or let down.
He knows in which direction they are heading by observing hubby's hand and whistling signals.
We can always hear where he is because he wears a Gremlin bell around his neck when we go camping.
Thoughtful.
Comfortable.
