I am an Assistant Professor of Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Georgia (UGA). My research focuses on how individuals and organizations make decisions under risk and uncertainty, both from a normative and descriptive perspective. I also study risk management practices in life insurance companies and explore insurance-based solutions for natural disasters. I received my PhD in Finance and Insurance from LMU Munich in 2020. Before joining UGA, I worked as a consultant at Allianz (2021–2024) and as an Assistant Professor at UNSW Sydney (2024–2025).
