Toan Nguyen is an economics lecturer at the Development Policy Centre and the Arndt-Corden Department of Economics, Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU. Prior to this position, he held academic appointments at the University of Queensland and Curtin University, and was a Software Engineer before that.  He is an Associate Editor of the Asian Pacific Economic Literature.

He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Curtin University in 08/2020. His primary research interests are in labor economics (migration).
