a man that has witnessed many years of the realm pass by. originally from the skatay range, he left his tiny village not too long after his 13th year, deeming the training for wood warders foolhardy. rather than rush to his death, bedwyr left his homeland behind to travel and quickly took to the spear, providing aid to those in need while being quick on his feet. eventually bedwyr would come across the first sharlayan settlers in the dravanian hinterlands, discussing an agreement to help defend the settlement, meeting his future wife during that time. though their happiness had been short, her passing in old age as she had been hyuran and unable to live as long as the viera, they had two children together.

witnessing his children grow older quickly began to instill a fear of death for his family. due to his propensity to be on the move, he was grateful that his son and daughter would be going with their relatives to old sharlayan to live a calmer life. it’s been many moons since that time and they are now grown adults.

like many other viera, he won’t reveal his age to anyone that isn’t his significant other. repeatedly asking will get a sharp remark. one thing he won’t ever reveal to anyone is his weight.

extremely beautiful to gaze at, and knows it, with his good heart preventing him from using it for nefarious means. except of course when it comes to the battlefield, where he has a surprising amount of strength and is just as fast. though he’s likely smitten the hearts of many with his appearance, he’d rather get to know a person rather than be treated as a pinned butterfly.

is a widow. it’s been many summers since his wife’s passing, and her death had been the reminder of how delicate everyone he’s ever loved is. yet the more delicate, the more he loves.

due to his age and having kids, has a tendency to act as a dad to nearly everyone he meets, as most of the time, they are younger than he is. despite his default being on the gentle side, he can be firm if he has to be.
