Have you connected the iPad, by its cable, to your computer's iTunes ? If that recognises it follow the instructions already posted i.e. If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

No, I am not sending you any emails (for a start I have no idea what your email address is), if you are getting emails it's because you've said that you want them, it has nothing to do with me. Go to your account's profile and turn off emails e.g. click on your name top left (if logged in) and click Preferences on the popup (you might need to toggle emails on and off) - or this should take you straight there : -preferences!input.jspa

Hi King_Penguin Ive tried the recovery mode several times and it's still not going to the recovery mode screen. If your computer's iTunes isn't recognising that it's in recovery mode (it does recognised the iPad ?) it sounds like you haven't successfully got it into recovery mode. Have you got access to a second computer that you could try with, or is there an Apple Store or authorised repairer that you could try ?

If you're using macOS Mojave or earlier or a Windows PC, use iTunes to sync content to your devices. Before you use iTunes to sync content to your iOS or iPadOS device, consider using iCloud, Apple Music, or similar services to keep content from your Mac or PC in the cloud. This way, you can access your music, photos, and more on your devices when you aren't near your computer. Learn more about using Apple Music or iCloud Photos instead of iTunes.

* You can only sync your device with one iTunes library at a time. If you see a message that your device is synced with another iTunes library, your device was previously connected to another computer. If you click "Erase and Sync" in that message, all content of the selected type on your device will be erased and replaced with content from this computer.

Phone Link works to connect your iPhone to your Surface so you can see phone notifications , send and receive iOS Messages, and place and answer calls, all from your Surface. You can learn a whole lot more at Phone Link app help and learning, and you can get it set up at Phone Link app requirements and setup.

You can remove a previously sideloaded add-in by clearing the Office cache on your computer. Details on how to clear the cache for each platform and application can be found in the article Clear the Office cache.

Scrivener for iPad and iPhone is meant to work both independently and in conjunction with Scrivener for Mac or Windows. You can create projects, write, edit, and compile on your iPad or iPhone, but you can also sync projects between your mobile device and desktop computer so you can work on both devices.

In the early days of the iPhone and iPad, the only way to sync content from a computer to a mobile device was by using iTunes. Over the years, Apple introduced features such as iCloud, which syncs contacts, calendars, reminders, and notes; Apple Music, which lets you store your music library in the cloud; the TV app, which allows you to access all the content you have purchased or rented from Apple's stores; the Books app, which syncs ebooks and audiobooks; etc. Many people no longer sync these devices at all. There is also iCloud Drive, which allows you to sync files across all your devices.

Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer with a USB to lightning cable. If you sync your device regularly, and use wi-fi sync, you won't need to do this. Find the device in the iTunes or Finder sidebar; click its icon.

To copy one of these folders to your computer, just drag it to the Finder or to the Windows Explorer. If you open the folder, you'll see your Scrivener project, and you can work with it on your computer.

The above procedure is quite simple, but you need to be careful. If you copy a project from your mobile device to your computer, then make changes, you can copy it back to the mobile device. But when you do so, it will overwrite the file on the device without warning. It's a good idea to name each project file on your computer when you make changes; for example, My Project 22-08-29. Also, you might want to keep the various versions you've copied from your mobile device on your computer as backups; this ensure that if you accidentally overwrite a project you still have a copy.

Dropbox is a cloud storage service, which offers a free tier (2 GB) and paid tiers (2 TB or more). The free plan may be sufficient if you just use it for your Scrivener projects, but it is limited to three devices. If you only have, say, a desktop computer, a laptop, and a tablet, then the free plan will work for you. But if you have more devices, and you want to use Dropbox on them, you'll have to pay at least $10 a month. This said, Dropbox is extremely reliable, and it's the only cloud storage service that is fully compatible with Scrivener. As such, Dropbox support is baked into Scrivener for iPad and iPhone. (See this article for more on syncing projects to the cloud from computers, as well as some remarks about other cloud storage services.)

Syncing with Dropbox is easy, but it is important to be aware that this syncing is not automatic; syncing only occurs when you have finished working on a project, or when you tell Scrivener to sync your files, depending on the settings you choose.

To set up Dropbox syncing on Scrivener for iPad or iPhone, you must have the Dropbox app installed, and you must be logged into your account. (You also need to install the Dropbox app on your Mac or PC.) From the main screen of Scrivener - I'm using the iPhone app for these examples - tap Edit, tap the Gear icon, then tap Link Dropbox.

You'll now see an empty Dropbox section on the main screen of the Scrivener app. If you tap Edit, you can drag any projects on your device to Dropbox, or you can create a new project by tapping +. When you do this, and enter a name for the project, a dialog asks where you want to save it: On my iPhone or Dropbox. Tap the latter to save the project to Dropbox.

With these options, you can sync files easily from your computer to your mobile devices so you can write anywhere. I've not gone into much detail about Dropbox syncing, and there's a Scrivener support document that looks more closely at how this works (though you probably don't need to know more) as well as offering solutions if you have a problem.

Use iTunes if you frequently use the computer that hosts your backups, you don't have an iCloud account or don't want to use iCloud, you want on-site and networked backups, or you'd like to have a manual or secondary backup to use with an iCloud one.

You can go through the iOS Setup Assistant again by erasing all the content on the device. Just tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. This will remove all content from your device, so do this only if you already have a backup. The iOS Setup Assistant is the only way to restore a backup.

Apps you purchase from the iTunes Store can be installed across all your iOS devices as long as the iTunes account associated with those devices is the same. The easiest way to transfer apps from an iPhone to an iPad is through the iCloud service that enables you to synchronize almost anything between iOS devices. With app sync enabled, all apps you install on your iPhone are automatically installed on your iPad. If you want to transfer apps that are already installed on your iPhone, you can either transfer apps one by one through the App Store on your iPad or through iTunes on your computer.

Tap the "Cloud" button to install apps that are not already on your iPad. This includes apps you purchased on your iPhone. To view apps that are not designed solely for the iPad, tap the "iPhone" tab. You will be prompted for your iTunes password when attempting to install an app.

Your iPhone and iPod touch have built-in backup functions that let you to perform basic backups from your handheld devices to your computer. These functions limit what you can do. We believe you deserve to be able to do more.

Microsoft Outlook offers an easy way to manage your emails, calendars and contacts, all in one place. If you're also using iCloud and Google, which can also manage info like contacts, email and calendars, you may want to consolidate all this information. ff782bc1db
