Highlights from the 2026 Japanese Video Skit and Presentation Contest award ceremony at the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival, featuring recognition of student winners and closing remarks by Consul-General Shinji Watanabe of Japan in Nashville.
This contest offers a unique opportunity to students of Japanese in the Tennessee area to compete at the regional level. This contest is intended to serve the following purposes:
Promotion of students' Japanese language skills.
Providing an opportunity for students in the Tennessee area to compete at the regional level.
Promotion of the Japanese language and culture in the local community.
Providing teachers and educators with opportunities to network and interact.
Offering students innovative and inspiring ways of learning.
Submissions are collected online, and winners will be announced at the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival.
Open to college students currently enrolled in Japanese courses at institutions in Tennessee area.
