Learning Counts Feedback 2021-22
At the heart of everything we do at The Marlborough Science Academy is high quality Teaching and Learning. Each week a member of SLT meets with a selection of students from different forms and year groups to discusses how they feel about their learning, what good practice looks like and voice their opinions on what areas could be improved. The Marlborough Science Academy values the voice of our students.
28th of June
Year 7 - would recommend school, community feel, mention to Dance, PE, Music and mention to Ms Shaw and Ms Kelly.
Year 8- great teaching, good community feel, caring staff, pastoral care, it’s fun. Mention to Art and Ms Legatt and Music.
Year 10- would recommend school, receive support, great school, strict but fair, good pastoral care. Mention to Maths, History, Geography, PE , Drama & Art. Mention for Ms. Redfern.

Year 7 – recommend the school, enjoy the practicals and also the experiments in science, school is fun.
Year 8 – good school, nice staff, mention to Maths & History. Special mention to Ms Sutton and Mr. Stanton in Maths.

Year 7 – recommend the school. Mention for Sport, Mu & Drama. Special mention to AKG, ADY, PAO & HSD. Like the practicals and using Chromebooks.
Year 8 – Great school, staff are nice, like how teachers teach. Mention for Sc, Hi and Gg. Like the practicals and special mention to AKG & LO’A for enjoyable lessons.

Year 7 – find the older students fun and kind. The transition was helpful and they like using the Chromebooks. Special mention to Ar, PE & Technology
Year 8 – great community and spirit. They find staff helpful and offer lots of support. Special mention to PE and new sports i.e. rugby and also IT –it is what the world is all about!
