The Law Magnet Chess Team is a social, information, instructional, and competitive organization that is meant to provide students with a safe, fun environment where students can come together through the game of chess. The Law Magnet Chess Team includes a variety of engaging activities, including instruction, lectures, rated games, simulations, recreational and competitive play. Practice takes place on Thursdays after school, in room 212, and there will be district-wide tournaments throughout the school year.
