Statement from TLF Share: "Hindi ka manggagawa lang, may magagawa ka"

It’s not everyday that someone will have the courage to speak up, especially on labor-related concerns. Since 2021, TLF CARE Program provides legal assistance to PLHIVs and Key Populations and the number of issues in relation to discrimination in the workplace & unfair treatment at work which resulted in denial of hiring, promotion, and harassment continue to increase. From 2021 to October 2022, 149 clients were provided with assistance. Among those clients, 20 individuals have experienced work-related discrimination. 

This Labor Day, let us ensure that everyone has the right to employment regardless of actual, perceived, and/or suspected SOGIESC or HIV status.
