7th AMTP launched on World AIDS Day

Text of the Philippine National AIDS Council's Statement of Commitment on the occasion of the launching of the 7th AIDS Medium-Term Plan 2023-2028 (AMTP) as follows:

STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT

Article 1 Section 5a of Republic Act 11166 or the Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Act mandates that the Philippine National AIDS Council shall develop the AIDS Medium Term Plan (AMTP) in collaboration with relevant government agencies, civil society organizations (CSO), Person Living with HIV community and other stakeholders.

We, the members of the Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC), do hereby commits to ensure the following:

• Operationalization and implementation of the 7th AMTP

• Strengthen the collaboration between government agencies, CSOs and other stakeholders involved in the implementation of the national HIV and AIDS response, including the delivery of HIV and AIDS-related services

• Monitor the implementation and mobilize sources of funds for the 7th AMTP.
