Born and raised in Utah, Trevor J. Nacey, a creative through and through, made videos with his toys as a child before writing short stories in middle school, and then working on the crew of a high school film class feature Hijacking History under teacher David Weidner.
His first official short, Conversations With A Ghost was screened to a small audience before being released to YouTube, and received praise for its atmospheric storytelling and writing, and has since been followed by three shorts, the latest of which, Vampyre, starring Brielle Summerhays and Holden Ochsenhirt, is coming very soon.
Nacey tends to write, direct, produce, edit, shoot, and even score his films by himself.Â
He cites his greatest inspirations as Stanley Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, Wes Anderson, and all the auteurs of the filmmaking world, and aspires to make films ranging from horror to thriller to comedy that not only entertain, but also tackle elements of the human condition and experience.
