I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of California San Diego. My research focuses on Macroeconomics, Labor, Education, and Growth. Previously, I was the Louis A. Simpson Postdoc in Macroeconomics at Princeton University. I have also worked as a research associate in the Macroeconomics Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco from 2009-2011.
I received my Bachelor's in Economics from Harvard University in 2009, a M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2012, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern in 2018.
