2018年10月19日至21日在台灣桃園市立田徑場，將首度結合陸、海、空、創客四大領域，打造亞洲最盛大全能機器人國際邀請賽，集結世界菁英好手，從組裝到機電整合，十六項競賽分級展現跨領域超實力，團隊競技超越巔峰，超過120萬高額總獎金更將引爆挑戰能量! 串聯Maker精神，同地將舉辦桃園國際創客嘉年華，現場將邀集食衣住行育樂百大名家，完整體驗台灣文創及美食文化；DIY風潮瘋靡全球，萬人工作坊將超越想像滿足手作樂趣! 未來科技展區、動漫展以及電競專區，迎向無可抗拒的AI新世代!

最受到萬眾矚目的是全球最酷的新極限運動，『 飛競狂飆無人機競速大賽』，聚集來自世界各地80位好手，戴上FPV眼鏡成為戰鬥機駕駛員、天空F1賽車手，以百公里時速穿越障礙，熱血狂飆，無限刺激，將成為2018下半年全台最狂飆速賽事!!

Taiwan International Robotics Tournament Drone Racing Competition is kicking off from Oct. 19 to Oct. 21 at Taoyuan City Athletic Field. It will be the first ever event to combine disciplines from the land, ocean, sky, as well as the maker field, and become Asia’s biggest international robotics tournament with the attendance of top players around the world. From building separate pieces to the fully assembled, sixteen competitive categories and levels showcase how each field can crossover and become integrated with one another. Prospective teams from all fields will be gathering to vye for over NT$1.2 million in total prize purse money.

The Taoyuan International Maker Fair will also be hosted at the same venue, a nod to the “Maker” spirit, with makers from all sorts of backgrounds for a complete experience of Taiwanese foods and creative culture. With the “DIY” trend sweeping across the globe, DIY fans can find enjoyment at numerous workshops set up at the fair. Future tech, comic and e-sport areas are also available for viewing, a sign that the AI era is fully upon us.

The most exciting extreme sport that is sweeping across the globe, the “Drone Racing Competition” will see the gathering of 80 pilots from around the world. The “F1 drivers in the sky” will be wearing their FPV goggles to pilot their flying machines that can reach hundreds of kilometers per hour, shooting across technical obstacles to see who reaches the finish line first in what could become Taiwan’s most exciting, exhilarating racing event in 2018.
