Tiped - Privacy Policy

Overview
Tiped is a fully offline, manual-entry personal budget tracker. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data you enter stays on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
Tiped does not collect or process:
Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Financial account credentials or bank data
Location data
Device identifiers
Analytics or usage statistics
Crash reports sent to external servers
Data Storage
All budget data (accounts, transactions, subscriptions, goals, debts, receivables, utang records, and bill-splitting sessions) is stored locally on your device using a SQLite database. No data is ever sent to a server, cloud service, or third party.
Data Export and Backup
Tiped lets you export your data to a JSON backup file or a CSV file, entirely at your own request. These files are saved to your device's storage, and it is your choice whether to keep, move, share, or upload them anywhere else. Tiped itself does not upload, transmit, or share these files with us or with any third party.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling Tiped. We do not retain a copy of your data anywhere, so deletion is immediate and permanent once removed from your device.
Permissions
Tiped requests the following device permissions:
Notifications — to remind you when a subscription bill is due.
Biometric / Fingerprint — optional app lock using your device's built-in security.
Boot Completed — to reschedule notifications after your device restarts.
None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.
Third-Party Services
Tiped does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. Note that the Google Play Store itself, and the Android operating system, may collect standard installation or diagnostic information as part of their own baseline services; this is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not by Tiped, and is outside our control.
Children's Privacy
Tiped does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Tiped is a general-audience app suitable for all ages, since it does not collect any personal information from any user.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
