Cander Buve SIA (“we”, “us”) publishes Tip and Split for Android (package name: com.pocketcalm.tipsplit). This privacy policy explains how the app handles information.
Tip and Split does not collect or transmit personal information or usage data. We do not receive the amounts you enter, your settings, or information about how you use the app.
The app works entirely offline and does not access the internet. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking services, or crash-reporting services. No account or registration is required, and the app does not request permissions from the user.
Your default tip percentage and rounding preference are stored locally in the app’s private storage.
Bill amounts, tax amounts, tip selections, and the number of people are used only to perform calculations. These values may be temporarily retained by Android to restore the app’s state after screen rotation or process recreation. They are never transmitted to us or to third parties.
The app is excluded from Android cloud backup. Depending on your device and Android version, Android’s built-in device-to-device transfer may copy local app data directly between your devices. We do not receive or have access to this data.
We do not store app data on any server.
You can reset the current calculation using the Clear button. You can delete all locally stored app data by clearing the app’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Because we do not collect personal information through the app, we hold no app-related personal information about you to access, correct, or delete. You control the information stored on your device and can delete it as described above.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and provide support, and retain it only as long as necessary for that purpose or as required by law. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver and store our correspondence.
You may contact us about your personal information or privacy rights using the email address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We may update this privacy policy when the app or its information-handling practices change. We will publish the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date.
