Tiny Learners is an educational app designed for children under 5. We have built it to be private by design: the app does not collect, store off your device, transmit, or share any personal information whatsoever.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal or sensitive information from you or your child. Specifically, the app does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, location data, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers (AAID), or any other personal data. The app does not require an account, sign-in, or registration.
2. Information Stored on the Device
The app saves a small amount of non-personal information locally on the device only, such as which activities have been completed and the sound on/off preference. This data never leaves the device, is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and is removed when the app is uninstalled. You can also clear it at any time using the “Reset progress” option in the app’s parent-gated settings.
3. Internet Access and Permissions
Tiny Learners works fully offline. The app does not connect to the internet and does not request sensitive runtime permissions (no camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or phone permissions).
4. No Advertising, Analytics, or Third-Party SDKs
The app contains no advertisements, no in-app purchases, no third-party analytics, no tracking technologies, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect or transmit data. We do not use your or your child’s information for any advertising or marketing purpose.
5. Children’s Privacy
Tiny Learners is intended for use by young children under parental supervision. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children. The app is designed to comply with the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its provisions concerning children, and Google Play’s Families Policy. A parent gate protects access to settings and any action intended for adults.
6. Data Sharing and Sale
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties, because we do not collect any.
7. Data Security
Since no data is collected or transmitted off the device, there is no personal data held by us that could be exposed. Any locally stored preference data remains within the device’s protected app storage.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without prejudice to data protection obligations that may apply to users located in other jurisdictions.
